Before: four hours of exports, and one picture nobody trusted
A European property marketplace (residential and commercial real estate) in 10+ countries produces numbers everywhere: web analytics, search console, two ad platforms, a phone platform, a CRM. Every Monday somebody had to pull them together. The result arrived late, with figures that did not match the ones the markets had sent.
Compiled the week by hand
Six exports, one spreadsheet, a copy-paste per market, then a narrative written on top. Residential and commercial had to be reported separately by hand, every time.
≈ 4 h every MondayE-mailed the figures
Each market sent its own numbers, in its own format, on its own schedule. A late e-mail meant a late report, or a report with a hole in it.
9 markets, one e-mail each, every weekCould not trust the lead source
Admin teams tagged the lead source in the CRM by hand. One lead was tagged Google against months of Google spend. Nobody knew how much of the ad budget could even be measured.
No one trustworthy pictureThe system: six connectors, rules in code, one approval
The report builds itself on Monday morning. Connectors pull the sources, a writer drafts the narrative, and a rule check refuses any figure that has no window and no source. A person reads it, corrects what needs correcting, and sends it.
Six sources, one pull
At 06:00 on Monday the connectors read web analytics, search console, Meta Ads, Google Ads, the phone platform and the CRM's qualified-lead export. Each figure arrives with its date window and its source attached.
Rules checked in code
Residential and commercial are reported separately, never added together. A figure without a source is refused. A figure without a window is refused. The draft fails the check before a person ever sees it.
A narrative, in plain words
The writer turns the tables into a short digest. Residential leads 58 against 39 the week before (+49%), after the year's best week at 88. 1,492 qualified residential leads covered since 1 January, 72% of them organic through the portals.
A person reads before it ships
At 09:05 a person opens the draft, corrects a caption, approves. At 09:10 the report reaches the management group. Nothing is sent on a failed check.
A tracking auditor on the side
Every Monday at 08:00 the auditor measures the share of ad spend with a complete conversion path and opens typed tickets. Baseline on 27 July: 23% tracked, €1,512 blind. The next day: 32%, €1,245 blind, 15 of 35 paths complete.
Six sources, one Monday chart
Ad spend with a measurable conversion path went from 23% to 32% in one day.
One real run: a Monday, from 06:00 to 09:30
A Monday after the auditor went live. Here is the run as the job log recorded it, from the first pull to the tickets being assigned.
Six sources pulled: web analytics, search console, Meta Ads, Google Ads, the phone platform, the CRM's qualified-lead export. Every figure is stamped with its window and its source.
Report drafted. Residential and commercial sit in separate tables. Rule check passes: no blended figure, every figure dated and sourced.
Measures the share of ad spend with a complete conversion path and opens 2 new tickets: a landing page with no form-submit event, a campaign without UTM.
Reads the draft, corrects one caption, approves.
Sent to the management group as a markdown report.
The two tickets are assigned to the people who own the landing page and the campaign.
Same pull, same rules. The week-over-week line compares residential with residential and commercial with commercial.

How we estimated Estimated
- The cadence comes from the Monday cron log and the auditor's ticket log.
- Minutes before are our estimate of the manual Monday: open six exports, reconcile, paste, write. The founder put it at about 4 hours.
- Minutes after are the time a person spends reading and approving the draft, and assigning tickets.
- Residential and commercial are never added together, in the report or in this table.
What a person still decides
The autopilot assembles. It never decides what management reads.
- A person reads every report before it goes to the management group. Nothing goes out on a failed rule check.
- Residential and commercial are never added together. The rule lives in code and fails the draft on its own.
- A figure without a window and a source is refused. The report is allowed to be shorter. It is never allowed to be unsourced.
- The auditor opens typed tickets. A person assigns them and decides what gets fixed first.

Frequently asked questions
Can AI build my weekly marketing report automatically?
Yes, as a draft a person approves. At 06:00 every Monday, connectors pull 6 sources: web analytics, search console, Meta Ads, Google Ads, the phone platform and the CRM lead export. A writer drafts a short narrative, rules in code check every figure, and a person reads, corrects and approves before the report reaches management. Nothing goes out on a failed check.
How does an automated report avoid wrong or blended figures?
With rules in code. A figure without a source is refused. A figure without a date window is refused. Residential and commercial are reported separately, never added together, and the week-over-week line always compares a segment with itself. The draft fails the check before a person ever sees it. The report is allowed to be shorter, never to be unsourced.
What is a tracking auditor and what did it find?
Every Monday at 08:00 it measures the share of ad spend with a complete conversion path and opens typed tickets, which a person assigns. Baseline on 27 July 2026: 23% of spend measurable. The next day, after one day of tickets: 32%. A ticket names the exact gap, for example a landing page with no form-submit event or a campaign without UTM.
How much time does an automated weekly report save?
The founder put the manual Monday at about 4 hours: six exports, reconcile, paste, write. With the autopilot, reading and approving takes about 20 minutes, by our estimate. Managers of the 9 markets no longer e-mail their figures, about 30 minutes each a week, also estimated. The report covers 1,492 qualified residential leads from 1 January to 16 September 2026, 72% of them organic.
Would a reporting autopilot work outside real estate?
Yes, for any company whose numbers sit in several tools. What transfers: one connector per source, every figure stamped with its window and source, rules in code for what must never be blended, a narrative in plain words and one approval before sending. Here the rule keeps residential and commercial apart. For you it may be two product lines, two countries or two channels.
